"Happy, Happy": Adultery in the outskirts of Oslo...

Ever been really into a movie, relating to it on an emotional level, when the idiots around you laughed in all the wrong places? That was my experience of "Happy, Happy," a Norwegian import about two married couples (each with one son) whose lives intersect - and threaten to derail - when one moves in next to the other.
What is there to do - but no good - among all that snow? I'm not sure whether the audience's titters were a defense mechanism - the movie hits on raw emotions and is totally uninhibited in its language, nudity and sexuality - or just heathens being heathens, but this isn't really a comedy; it's a typically honest Nordic portrayal of human relationships, and a keenly observed one at that.
