  • 3 1/2 Stars - Superior; one of the top 20 films of the year.
  • 3 Stars - Strongly recommended.
  • 2 1/2 Stars - Mildly recommended.
  • 2 Stars - Mildly discommended, though not without meritorious elements.
  • 1 1/2 Stars - Poor.
  • 1 Star - Quite poor.
  • 1/2 Star - Exceptionally poor on an artistic level and distasteful on one or more additional levels.
  • 0 Stars - Fails on the most rudimentary technical level and/or merits extraordinary condemnation.
