Somewhere

Wise, knowing and true, Sofia Coppola's "Somewhere" comes one false step from greatness. After 90 minutes of clear-eyed perfection, Coppola couldn't muster the courage to end without making Stephen Dorff verbalize his emotions, striking an egregiously dissonant note.
It's still well worth seeing - Dorff is made newly sexy and Elle Fanning portrays his daughter with effortless ease - just leave when you see the "Do Not Disturb" sign.
